Board Member, The Peggy and Jack Baskin Foundation
Robert Ridino resides in Aptos, California. After graduating from Glendale High School in Southern California, he married and relocated to Santa Cruz County in 1979, where his two children, Benjamin and Jennifer were born. Since 1975, Mr. Ridino has been active in real estate investment and development and, with his father Sam, established S.A.R. Enterprises to hold and self-manage their property portfolio.
Over the past 30 years, S.A.R. has developed, owned, or self-managed over 50 various residential and commercial properties nationwide. In 2005, SAR Enterprises incorporated. Mr. Ridino serves as President and sole shareholder of the company, S.A.R. Asset Management, Inc. The company presently manages an extensive commercial real estate portfolio which includes nationally recognized tenants such as Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, K-Mart, and Home Depot. Mr. Ridino is the Managing Member of fifteen investment partnerships that own the properties managed by SAR Enterprises.
Although SAR Enterprises specializes in commercial real estate acquisitions and management, Mr. Ridino also has extensive experience in Santa Cruz County real estate development. He has processed several minor land divisions and two major subdivisions in the county and has permitted and built seven residential homes during the past twenty years.
In addition to being a board member of The Peggy & Jack Baskin Foundation, Mr. Ridino currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Dominican Oaks Retirement Community in Santa Cruz and the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County. His offices are maintained at 783 Rio del Mar Blvd., in Aptos, California.
