Apply for a Grant

The Peggy and Jack Baskin Foundation uses a three-step application process:

Step One:

Please review our Current Grant Opportunities and Eligibility Requirements and submit an Organization Information Form if you believe that your organization meets our guidelines. The Peggy and Jack Baskin Foundation uses this form to gather information about organizations interested in applying for a grant. After reviewing the form, a staff member will notify you of your organization's eligibility to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI).

Step Two:

Eligible candidates interested in applying for a grant from the Peggy and Jack Baskin Foundation are required to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). The program officer and applicant will agree upon its submission deadline.

If you are invited to submit an LOI, do not hesitate to contact us with questions about the application. Please note that this LOI serves as the proposal for the organization.

Please see Letter of Inquiry Instructions for complete submission details.

Step Three:

The Letter of Inquiry will be reviewed by The Peggy and Jack Baskin Foundation. Applicants will be notified about the Foundation’s interest within two months following the submission deadline.

If the project is selected for further consideration, a foundation representative may schedule a meeting to discuss the request. At that time, further materials or additions to the LOI may be required.

A request for submission of an LOI in no way guarantees eventual funding of the request.

Unsolicited LOIs will not be accepted.
